I am not a lawyer nor a privacy expert, but here's what you may expect by visiting my website:
- I use Scribbles Analytics to check my page views as well as to enable "Kudos" feature. From what I gathered, this is in turn provided by Vincent's other product, "Tinylytics". They claim to not use user-identifiable trackers or cookies for this purpose, and in my testing it does not. Check Scribbles' Privacy Policy here.
- I have enabled no other analytical tools on domains I control (duh.ws, karsten.ws and possibly others in the future). However, as I am currently using Porkbun to manage my domains, and they use Cloudflare to provide DNS services, your general information may be shared with Cloudflare when you are making a DNS request to my websites.
- When you visit my blog, Scribbles and I see: your country deduced from IP, the page you are visiting, your unique visits. Scribbles may additionally see your IP, operating system information, among other things, but these are not shared with me.
- The contact form is provided by Letterbird. Their privacy policy can be viewed here. What I'll see: the name you provided, the email address you provided and your message. Letterbird may in addition see your IP address, your operating system information, your browser, your hit counts, among other things, but these information are not shared with me.
- If you sent me a message through Scribbles' "Scribble" feature or Letterbird, and would like those messages deleted please let me know through the contact form. I'll delete the messages after receiving your request. Please also contact Scribbles and Letterbird, by sending them an E-mail so that your data can be wiped on server side.
